SSL certificate check
A real TLS connection to the server on port 443: certificate validity, hostname match, certificate chain, TLS version and expiry date.
Frequently asked questions
- My browser says the certificate is fine, but here it says “incomplete chain”?
- Browsers often fetch the intermediate certificate that the server does not send. API clients, curl and some apps do not and will report an error. The fix is to install the full chain (fullchain) on the server.
